Azuly Just did it for you, but to do it yourself, go to your account, Edit Profile, then you can unhide your group title for Amethyst. No way to have multiple on by default (from what I could find).

h_har_s looked into this briefly, but opted to do player ranks. Maybe we could do bother some point, or I could just hide the badge on the post view.

From what I've been able to find, in the original game, players could only choose their Sitekick name a single time. Perhaps at a later point renaming was an option, but I couldn't find much data on it.

The benefit of allowing less renames is that players will become attached to their Sitekick, similar to a pet (You wouldn't give your dog a new name every other day!). The disadvantage of less renames is that players can no longer use it for communication with the community.

However, now that we have the YAP! Message boards, all players are able to login at any point and message another user, so we no longer need to rely on Sitekick names for communication.

The results of this poll will help us decide on how to handle this going forward, but it will not guarantee one outcome or another. Comments are very welcome.

In October 2024 I tracked down the installer for Sitekick "They Came for the Ooze" - a Macromedia Projector game from 2004. Due to how the DRM functioned, there was no way to play this game on modern operating systems, so after a few days of tinkering I re-released it on Github.

There is a Windows installer available for free on Github.

Note:

• You can NOT claim chips.
• Galactic hiscores are not functional. Do not try to use them.
• Runs in a small window or forces fullscreen seemingly at random.
• Use this program at your own risk. We're relying on extremely old code.

We're pretty excited to get started on the remaster for Sitekick Remastered 0.9.0.

Has anyone played this before?

Azuly Bkells I just increased the profile picture & banner picture max file size significantly. I'm surprised it was so low. New limit is 8MB & 10MB respectively, which is generally the standard.

8.0 is almost done, but we had to push an update before the end of the month to remain on Google Play.

Before posting, please familiarize yourself with the rules.

About 6 months ago we came to the realization that relying on Discord for all of our community social features just isn't feasable. While Discord Bots allowed us to manage the community, we still had very little control over messaging, including direct messaging. As the server got larger, we started seeing more and more scammers & phishing attempts sent directly to users, with little recourse besides the report button. That, alongside requiring users to agree to a third party's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, etc, helped push in the direction of opening a forum that we host, and we manage.

Going forward, Discord will still be available, but we will not be pushing it as hard. Some of you love using it (as do most of the team), but the channels will be consolodated considerably.

Consider YAP! as a more-permanent place for long-form discussion, and Discord as supplemental for those already using it daily.

If you have any suggestions or general feedback, please post here.

Moving to a forum will have some growing pains, but it should work out better in the long run.
