Hello everyone, I'm Nevil, and this is my guide to getting Legendaries!
First, the following images feature every single Legendary chip in the game, which you can use for visual reference while checking the dump.
    There are 36 in total.

    Legendary Page 1.png
    Legendary page 2.png

But what is a legendary? If you look at the Chipendium pages for some of these chips, you'll notice that they have wildly different listed rarities.
As we can see in the image below, Soundwave is listed as "Everywhere", LazerBladeBlue is Common, Blackhole is Rare, and Badfish is Legendary.
    What's going on here?

    consolodated.png

To understand that, we'll need to look back into the history of this game.
It used to be that chips would spawn based on their rarity, and their rarity was listed as either Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary. There are also Unique chips, but for our purposes we're going to ignore those.
Commons would spawn in the dump frequently, and Legendaries were the rarest.
Then, there was an update which consolodated the spawn times so that there were only Common, Rare, and Legendary.
Some Epics became Rares, and some became Legendaries.
As of then, and now, Legendary chips reportedly spawn once every 24-48 hours.

But if the spawn rate of Legendaries is still so low, why are some of them considered Common rarity?

There was later an update which replaced the listed spawn-rate rarity with a new description which explained how many of the given chip there are in global supply.
This was the system used previously in the original Sitekicks game over on YTV.com
There are currently 104 LazerBladeBlues in existence, so while it has a spawn rate of "Legendary", it is considered a Common chip, because so many people have it.
Badfish are considered Legendary because fewer than 70 accounts have one.
Some chips which have a common spawn rate are considered 'Legendary', because hardly anyone has bothered to collect them.

Now I've got some tips and tricks for you to use while hunting legendaries!

My first tip is that Legendaries can spawn day or night, so if you find yourself up at 3am, it might be worth it to check the dump!
I've personally found a lot of legendaries very late at night because the majority of the playerbase is asleep.
It's how I got both my mechwings and my lblades.

Next, the dump orders it's chips not in the order in which they spawned, but numerically. Chip #1, Monday, will always be at the bottom and on the last page.
Sometimes, the dump gets a boost in chip spawning, and the dump can have way more pages than it normally does.
The legendary with the highest number is Flamehawk, sitting at #646
This means that there will never be a legendary above the #646 spot in the dump, so you should always ignore the higher numbered chips and go immediately to the later pages.

    full dump.png

The only exception to this rule is if there are two or more of the same Legendary in the dump simultaneously.
When two of the same chip are in the dump, they will stack on top of each other, and go to the top of the dump.
The dump always displays multiples first, in their numbered order.
If there are 3 of a chip in the dump, and no set of 4 or higher, they will be at the very top. Then, if there are 2 of any given chips, those are next, and they are ordered in descending numerical order, as normal. Then all the single chips, also descending in numerical order, as shown in the image below.

My final dump related tip is simply to look over the dump closely.
Some legendary chips look very similar to non-legendaries, and thus can be looked over.
Others have very unremarkable designs, and may blend in with other chips.
Here are some visual examples of what I mean:

    Ninja vs Ninjaband.png
    Ninja looks similar to NinjaBand.

    Superkick vs PawPaws.png
    Superkick looks like PawPaws.
It also looks like some other chips which feature red and black, but PawPaws seems the closest at a glance to me.

    Flewy Twirlies vs radioactive.png
    FlewyTwirlies looks similar to RadioActive.

    Radioactive in trades.png
It should also be noted that RadioActive has transparent portions in it's chip design, and will have the same colors as whatever is underneath it. It will therefore appear purple in the dump.
Above is an example of RadioActive in the trade window. The transparent parts have turned orange.

    polar punk vs jimmy.png
    PolarPunk looks like Jimmy.

    Custom Eyes vs Black Eyes.png
CustomEyes is almost identical to BlackEyes.

These chips are so similar that you shouldn't ever go by what they look like. You should always mouse over them in the dump (if you don't just instantly grab them lol) to be sure of which chip it is.

    Bland Chips.png
Finally, here are some chips that I think are so bland looking that they could easily blend in with the other chips in the dump.

But random dump spawns aren't the only way you can acquire legendaries!
One of the legendaries in the game, Tower, is able to be created through fusion!
You can find the fusion menu by clicking the dropdown menu in the top left of the screen, and then selecting 'fusion'.

    fusion menu.png

The following chips are the ones you're going to want to look out for in the dump and in the trade section to guarantee yourself your very own Tower!

    fusion mats.png
RedEyes #115 OR CrimsonEyes #125 (You don't have to use both) (Rare spawn rates)
    PaperBagLid #1042 (Common spawn rate)
    VikingArm #954 (Common spawn rate)

Just place the chips in the fusion menu, and voila! Your very own legendary!
    fusion recipe.png

The other method for acquiring legendaries is by participating in events.

Sometimes, contests are held by the GMs, and the prizes can be codes for legendary chips!
You should always make sure to check the forums and the appropriate discord channels for new opportunities to win guaranteed legendaries!

As I write this, there is currently an ms paint art contest which has not yet concluded, with legendary codes up for grabs!
    forum contest.PNG

Every now again something called a 'dump party' will be held.
Sometimes these are run by the GMs, and sometimes by the community.
Most of the time the spawn rate in the dump is massively increased, and multiple legendaries are found and yoinked by those lucky enough to get at them first.

Codes are also given away at these events in the Sitekicks Remastered discord server.
Sometimes they are encoded and require the use of third party software to decipher.

    decode the code.PNG

Sometimes they are silently hidden in the server and you need to look around to find them.

    hidden code.PNG

Remember, if someone else grabs the code first, don't be discouraged!
When a code is used, it usually generates a random chip of the given rarity.
If the person using the code already has the chip, they won't be able to collect it.
They also won't be able to use the code entry system again, until the current awarded chip has either been collected or dumped.

    code claim.png

What people will often do in this situation is simply dump the chip so that they can free up their account and get ready to try the next code.
When you miss out on a code, it might be worth it to find out what the chip was, if the person already has it, and if possible, if they're planning to dump it so that you can be ready to take it the moment it drops!

Well, that's that! I wish you all luck in hunting down legendaries!

Below you can find a list of every legendary in the game as well as their numbers.
